Cozy and homely, this restaurant is owned by Lebanese Mr. Bean who loves the FRIENDS series and his favorite character is Monica. The food tastes like comfort mixed with amazing flavors, super cute presentation and the best cappuccino in town. Sam truly knows how to make each customer feel special! I had a really good time chatting and eating brunch, and I will come back more times for sure!

This little cafe is AMAZING. I stumbled upon it while doing a google search for breakfast spots near my Paulista hotel. I am an American business traveler and I'd grown tired of the typical hotel breakfast buffet, so I decided to "explore". I am quite happy I did. This spot did not appear 1st on my search...in fact I had to scroll past 6 or 7 other google recommended places before this one immediately caught my eye. "Quaint and rustic" doesn't do it justice, but it certainly falls into that category. Both indoor and outdoor seating and the owner/host "Sam" is cool as can be. After 5 minutes interacting with him, it's clear and obvious why this place is called "Friends". Last but not least, the food is incredible. I had the omelet with lemon cake and cold hibiscus tea. All excellent. I will be back tomorrow morning for another perfect breakfast experience. Perhaps I will see YOU there! Cheers, Larry (traveling from America).

This morning’s Lebanese brunch was truly exceptional. Every detail — from the flavors to the hospitality — was simply perfect. The owner, Sam, was incredibly warm and attentive, taking the time to explain each dish and making sure everything was just right. You can feel his passion for what he does in every bite. All the food was freshly made by Sam himself, but the highlight — without a doubt — was the za’atar and cheese croissant. Fresh out of the oven, buttery, flaky, and perfectly balanced with that fragrant za’atar blend — honestly, it’s the best croissant I’ve ever had. The rest of the spread was equally impressive: smooth hummus, creamy labneh, and aromatic coffee/cappuccino — everything bursting with authentic Lebanese flavor and freshness. The cozy, welcoming atmosphere made the whole experience feel like brunch at a friend’s home rather than a restaurant. If you’re in São Paulo and want something soulful, flavorful, and truly special, you have to visit Sam’s place at “FRIENDS BRUNCH”. It’s more than just brunch — it’s a taste of Lebanon made with heart.

I’m so happy that I stumbled upon this place. Not only is the food delicious, the environment Sam has made is beautiful and so welcoming for foreigners. I will be back eventually! If you are reading this, I highly recommend the esfiha!

Stepping into Friends Brunch São Paulo feels like walking straight onto the set of Friends — if Central Perk had traded New York bustle for the warmth and charm of São Paulo. The atmosphere is effortlessly welcoming: a cozy blend of laughter, clinking coffee cups, and cheerful chatter that instantly puts you at ease. Every corner of the restaurant has a personal touch — Polaroids from happy guests, little handwritten notes pinned to the wall, and quirky décor that nods to the beloved sitcom without feeling forced. It’s down to earth, joyful, and full of heart. The true magic here lies in the details — and in the owner himself. He’s the kind of person you don’t forget: funny, approachable, and brimming with passion for what he does. Between greeting guests and swapping jokes, he somehow finds time to do all the baking himself. You can taste that care in every bite — the kind of sincerity that can’t be mass-produced. The food is pure comfort with a creative twist. From the umbrella-shaped cheese cuts to the rustic wooden serving trays that make every plate look like a work of art, you can tell everything has been thought through with love. The homemade sesame snaps are an unexpected delight — crisp, nutty, and just sweet enough to pair perfectly with your cappuccino. Speaking of which, that cappuccino arrives lwith delicate flowers that make it almost too cute! Each dish feels like a note of gratitude from the kitchen — hearty, handmade, and heartfelt. It’s the kind of brunch that doesn’t just fill you up; it lifts your spirits. For me, this brunch was the perfect start to my day — and to my trip in São Paulo. It’s rare to find a place that captures both warmth and whimsy so effortlessly, but Friends Brunch does just that. You walk in as a guest and leave feeling like a friend.
